Deck the Halls
Deck the Halls
Christmas is a wonderful time of the year – and while most of us spend time with our families year round, Christmas is an extra special time to relish in each other’s company. It’s not about what we eat, where we celebrate or the gifts we receive, but just about enjoying the holidays relaxing with our family and friends.
At Mr Enthusiast, we love decorating our house for Christmas, so here are some tips to get you started this festive season.
Put out some inflatables
Bunnings have great range of inflatables this year, including an inflatable dinosaur if you’re after diversity in your decorations.
Christmas trees
Christmas trees can be a bit of a hassle, especially if, like us, you have fur babies that think the tree is there for their entertainment. So, if you’re not up for a Christmas tree, there are plenty of alternatives you can find – like drawing your own tree on a chalkboard.
DIY decorations
Most households don’t really have a lot of time or money to invest in decorations, so we recommend having a look at Lowe’s DIY minimalist Christmas decoration ideas. You can follow the link here. You can get creative and decorate them however you like to suit your home!
We also recommend getting to know your neighbours by hosting a Christmas street party. Every year on Christmas night, after the madness of the day is over, our neighbours pop out the front and we all enjoy some leftovers and each other’s company. This has become a tradition that we cherish and look forward to each year.
However you choose to celebrate Christmas this year, all of us at Mr Enthusiast wish you and your family a very safe and happy holiday.
